How Ignite Contact collects, uses, and protects personal information.
Effective date: November 4, 2026
1. Who we are
Ignite Contact is operated by Brad Plummer as a sole proprietorship in Ontario, Canada. In this policy, “Ignite Contact”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to that business. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through https://ignitecontact.ai, our forms and demos, and our communications with you.
Mailing address: 157 Bridge Street, Carleton Place, Ontario K7C 2V6. Privacy questions: [email protected]. Phone: (343) 309-9499.
2. What information is collected
What information is collected: we collect only what we need to respond to you and provide our services:
- Information you give us in forms: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, any message you write, and whether you agree to receive text messages.
- Demo interactions: when you use the website chat, voice (AI receptionist), or text-back demos, we may receive what you type, say, or text, your phone number if you call or text, and call or chat recordings, transcripts, or summaries.
- Booking details: if you book a consultation, the time you choose and the details you enter.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and embedded tools may automatically record basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookie identifiers needed for the site, forms, and widgets to work.
Please don’t send sensitive personal information (such as health or financial account details) through our forms, chat, or demos.
3. How we use information / how data is used
How data is used: we use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiries and requests for pricing or a consultation;
- run the demos you choose to try, and follow up if you ask us to;
- set up, deliver, and support services you sign up for;
- keep records of our communications with you;
- maintain, secure, and improve our website and demos; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Text messages and email
SMS opt-in details: we send text messages only to people who have expressly opted in, for example by ticking an optional SMS consent checkbox on a form or by requesting a demo text. Message types include informational and transactional texts (for example replies to your inquiry, booking confirmations, account or service updates) and promotional or marketing texts (offers, demos, and news), each only with the matching consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP at any time to unsubscribe / opt out, or Text HELP for help. You can also email or call us to update your information or withdraw consent.
Under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we distinguish between transactional messages (for example, replying to your inquiry, confirming a booking, or messages about services you have with us) and marketing messages (promotions or newsletters). We send marketing email or texts only with your consent, and every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe.
Clear no sharing statement about SMS opt-ins (CRITICAL): No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Service providers and where information is stored
We use trusted third-party providers to run our website and business, including GoHighLevel / LeadConnector for website hosting, forms, our CRM, calendar booking, chat and voice demos, and text and email messaging, as well as related telephone, email, and hosting providers. These providers process information on our behalf to deliver those services.
Some of these providers store or process information in the United States and Canada. Information stored outside Canada may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
6. Cookies and tracking
Cookie and tracking info: our use of cookies and similar tracking technologies is currently limited to what our website platform and embedded forms, chat, and calendar tools need to function. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or sell tracking data. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.
7. Retention and data security practices
We keep personal information only as long as needed for your inquiry or our business relationship, and for legal, tax, or record-keeping requirements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Data security practices: we use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls and the security features of our service providers, to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
User rights: under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or update your information, unsubscribe from messages, and withdraw your consent to our use of it (subject to legal or contractual limits). To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
